Hi there, I'm Lucia
I work as a project manager, a parent, and an expat living in Barcelona, Spain.
A few years ago I moved here with my family. What began as a temporary contract gradually became a new chapter of life abroad.
Origin Story
Moving to Spain wasn't in the long-range plan. As with many expatriate relocations, it started as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far more substantial.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, routines, and expectations. Daily tasks seemed more complex than they ought to be.
The Transition Phase
There was culture shock, ambiguity, and plenty of hands-on learning. Gradually, routines took shape. We found spots that suited us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Created WarmMeadowPath
Most information on the web was either corporate relocation guidance or shallow tourism content. What was absent was a candid, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to bridge that gap — practical advice grounded in real-life experiences in Spain.
What This Site Does (And Doesn't)
This site represents:
- Hands-on know-how from life in Spain
- Centered on family life and daily realities
- Updated whenever something truly changes
This site is NOT:
- Not a tourism authority resource
- Paid review platform
- A generic travel blog
Moving Forward
Our stay in Spain continues, and so does the learning journey. As long as the information remains helpful, I will continue recording what we uncover.
If you have questions about family life in Barcelona or anywhere in Spain, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Best regards,
Lucia
